I've been vegan since 1996. I've volunteered and campaigned for animal rights with various vegan organisations (from grassroots to national and international organisations). I've worked as a part-time consultant for The Vegan Society - project managing the launch of their award-winning website, and the development of a new Customer Relationship Management database for their members. I've spoken on veganism, activism, and community building. I've mentored new and potential vegans. I've even written music for vegan radio shows, and DJed at vegan events. And since 2011, I've also been running what is apparently now the world's largest vegan social group (London Vegan Meetup). But I still want to do more - for animals, for humans, and for the planet.

All too often, non-vegan businesses struggle to capitalise on the demand from vegan customers. Meanwhile, vegan businesses struggle to succeed commercially. In either case, their failure is to address the two complementary aspects: "vegan" and "business".

Since November 2011, I've been running London Vegan Meetup, and various events for the group.

But that's only one of the ways I've been using my spare time to help build the London vegan community, and campaign on vegan issues.

I've been organising events for the London vegan community since at least 2011. These now include London Vegan Drinks (Europe's largest monthly vegan social event) and See You Last Tuesday (CULT).
