Since 2007, I have developed a suite of e-learning tools for the Museum of London - covering topics such as:
- Records Management
- Information Management
- Emergency Planning
- Handling Museum Objects
- Packing Museum Objects for Storage
- Packing Museum Objects for Moving
- Introduction to Museum Pests
- Hazards in Collections
Most of these tools were created to be entirely independent of the web hosting platform, so that they could be deployed on web sites and intranet sites of different technologies, on stand-alone or networked PCs, and on CD-ROM. However, the latest tool (Hazards in Collections) was developed using the Drupal Content Management System (CMS) to facilitate updates and allow provide usage statistics.
I also developed a further tool that allowed museums nationwide to monitor their risk awareness.
