When I moved to Camden in 1996, there were very few options for vegans. Some places have come and gone in the subsequent years (Ha Ha Burger Bar, Loving Hut, inSpiral Lounge...) but many others have stayed the course, and Camden is now one of the most vegan-friendly neighbourhoods in London.
On World Vegan Day 2015, I hosted the first Camden Vegan Hangout. Using the Oat Milk vegetarian cafe as our base, we also explored many of the area's other vegan and vegetarian establishments.
When Oat Milk then evolved into the all-vegan Buttercream Dreams, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to make this a regular thing!
After Buttercream Dreams closed down, we briefly used the World's End as our base of operations. However, the Camden Vegan Hangout is currently on hiatus.
Nevertheless, my map of Vegan Camden is still available.
